Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya History & Biography in Urdu Hindi Justt Click

Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya (Urdu: محمد نظام الدّین اولیاء‎‎‎; sometimes spelled Auliya.Nizammudin Auliya was born 1238 – 3 April 1325 in Badayun, Uttar Pradesh to Hazrat Syed Ahmed Bokhari ( Father) and Bibi Zuleikha ( Mother ).

Both of his parents were highly religious and pious people. His father died when Auliya was just 5 ( Five) years old and His mother took it upon herself to ensure that her son got the best education. She placed him under the training of Maulana Allauddin Usooli of Badayun ( Uttar Pradesh) under whose guidance the boy excelled in studies.

Nizamuddin mastered the seven ways of recitation of the holy Quran, studied Arabic grammar, Ahadith (traditions of the Prophet Mohammed PBUH), Tafsir (commentary on the Quran), mathematics and astronomy. When he was around 16 or 17 years old, he heard of the Sufi saint Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar ( Pakpatan, Punjab, Pakistan ) , commonly known as Baba Farid, and immediately developed feelings of love and respect for him. His love for the baba intensified over time and at the age of 20 he went to Ajodhan (the present Pakpattan Sharif in Pakistan) and became a disciple of Baba Farid. He was a Sufi saint of the Chishti Order and arguably one of the most famous Sufis on the Indian Subcontinent.[1] His predecessors were Fariduddin Ganjshakar, Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki and Moinuddin Chishti. In that sequence, they constitute the initial spiritual chain or silsila of the Chishti order, widely prevalent in the Indian subcontinent. Nizamuddin Auliya, like his predecessors, stressed love as a means of realising God. For him his love of God implied a love of humanity. His vision of the world was marked by a highly evolved sense of religious pluralism and kindness.[2] It is claimed by the 14th century historiographer Ziauddin Barani that his influence on the Muslims of Delhi was such that a paradigm shift was effected in their outlook towards worldly matters. People began to be inclined towards mysticism and prayers and remaining aloof from the world. Nizamuddin Auliya succeeded Baba Farid upon his death to become the fourth Spiritual Successor (Khalifa) of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti of Ajmer. As a Sufi dervish he lived a life based upon the essential teachings of Islam and principles of Sufism. His life was an embodiment of the principle of "simple living and high thinking".
